Park City Fly Fishing Company guides have over 40 years of experience guiding in the Park City area and through out Utah. Within 30-minutes drive of Park City there is one of the widest selections of world-class trout fisheries in the world. There’s the Lower Provo River, Middle Provo River, Weber River, and for those seeking variety, a little farther away, the Upper Green and many other secret spots that hold big fish.
Anglers new to the world-renowned Provo River (as well as our many other local blue ribbon fisheries) are shocked at the size and quantity of fish. With over 40-years combined experience, our guides know preparation is key to having a great day of fishing. Whether you’re new to fly fishing or very experienced, our guides are dedicated to getting you on the most productive water, with the right flies, using the best technique.
Our goal is to give you an experience of a lifetime that keeps you coming back year after year.
– Jeff Harwin, Owner and Head Guide
We offer full-day and half-day trips. Each guide can handle up to three anglers depending on their skill level. The unique qualities of our local tailwaters allows us excellent fishing year round. Summer and Fall provide the widest variety of fishing options. Spring offers shots at big Rainbows and epic dry-fly fishing. Winter offers a great break from skiing with prolific midge hatches.
I’ve fished with a lot of guides over the past 19 years and Jeff Harwin at Park City Fly Fishing Company is the best. He knows the secret spots and gets up early to tie the hottest patterns. One day he anticipated a green drake hatch and we slayed ‘em on drys.
Jeff, I’m not sure fishing gets any better than it did today. Great fish, no people, great scenery, great company.
We supply all boots, waders, rods, reels and flies. On half-day trips we provide a cooler full of drinks and snacks, we make lunch on full-day trips. Clients may bring their own gear. Your guide will call in advance to determine your experience level and any fishing preferences. All you are responsible for is buying a fishing license, bring Sun Glasses and dress in appropriate clothing.
